THE COUNCIL

The Parish Council comprises 7 honorary councillors who are unpaid volunteers. The Parish Council employs a part-time Clerk who also acts as the Responsible Financial Officer.

We manage and fund a range of activities including maintenance of Council-owned common land and the playgrounds; management of the allotments; litter picking; and the inspection and maintenance of trees.

We also review and comment on all planning applications; coordinate with Halton Borough Council on issues that affect the parish and help deal with local issues raised by parishioners.

Currently, special projects that we are supporting include restoration of the Village Hall and the Smartwater crime prevention scheme. You are welcome to contact your Parish Councillors about any local issue of concern. Their contact details can be found on the ‘Contact Us’ page.

You may also contact Tracey Noble, via the Contacts Page.

You are invited to attend Parish Council meetings, which are held at the The Village Hall, Chester Road, Daresbury, Cheshire, WA4 4AJ

At the start of each meeting there is always an opportunity for members of the public to raise any issues of concern they may have. Details about forthcoming meetings and the records of previous meeting can be found on the meetings page.
